Hallo.
Lipsync, as usual, keeping me busy. But the entire thing is choreographed, with the exception of a few stunts we have to get down, and there’s only one girl left to be taught.
And, the best news of all, the teachers who help run the show saw ours, and they gave us positive feedback. I do hope they weren’t just blowing smoke up our… well, blowing smoke at us.
And I thought I’d record here that Molly Stanton has died.
She was a good girl I didn’t know her much personally, but her family did live by my house and she babysat me a time or too. Wonderful girl. Always smiling, a teacher, young. She danced at my dance studio, though a few years ahead of me.
She went too fast around a curve, and went straight into a tree. She broke her neck, and her pelvis… basically, everything. She was still alive. She flatlined twice on the ambulance ride to Erie, and they got her on life support, but they took her off.
I’m keeping my thoughts with her family in the coming weeks. It’s a tough loss.
